By Chris Banescu – January 25, 2012 – President Barack Obama, a lifelong champion of abortion, is hell-bent on forcing religious institutions to pay for birth control and abortion drugs coverage for their employees…On January 20, 2012, the Health and Human Services (HHS) department, under the direction and influence of the Obama administration, issued a final rule that requires that health insurance plans, including those of religious institutions, “cover preventive services for women including recommended contraceptive services without charging a co-pay, co-insurance or a deductible.” HHS’s rule further states that plans must cover the “full range of the Institute of Medicine’s recommended preventive services, including all FDA-approved forms of contraception.” The FDA’s list of approved methods of contraception includes abortifacients, abortion drugs prescribed to kill life in the womb after conception.

Obama Ends ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ Policy
By ELISABETH BUMILLER – NEW YORK TIMES – Published: July 22, 2011 – WASHINGTON — President Obama formally certified on Friday that the American military is ready for the repeal of the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy as Pentagon officials said that nearly two million service members had been trained in preparation for gay men and women serving openly in their ranks. Enactment of the repeal will come in 60 days, on Sept. 20. The two-month waiting period is called for in the legislation passed late last year that ended “don’t ask, don’t tell,” the 17-year-old law that banned openly gay men, lesbians and bisexuals from military service.
