One of the most moving things I have ever seen on TV was a very special 700 Club program following the Sandy Hook massacre that included a special interview with family therapist Ron Deal about his first hand experience with tragedy and loss and how he was able to trust God again.  Ron knew exactly how many days it was since his 12-year old son, Conner, died 3 years ago, that’s how fresh this hurt still cuts him.  He and his wife, Nan, shared their utter despair and complete desolation following their son’s death. They lived the Christian life and did it all right.  They asked, “Why?”  See how they recovered and was able to trust God again!

If you or anyone you know has ever felt despair, so deep, that Christian platitudes can’t meet your needs because your heart has been so horribly broken that God seemed like He abandoned you and you can’t find Him anywhere, then don’t miss this video.  It will help!

I know it will help because there is someone who I love very much who has recently experienced a horrible great loss.  I had them over to watch this video and it blessed them.

May it bless you too!

Ron Deal and his wife, Nan, were on the 700 Club talking about the death of their son, Connor. The video link follows. “Trusting God again after tragedy.”  This is a wonderful video anyone from Sandy Hook, Newtown, CN should view.

Note: I was not able to embed this video here, so please go to:

Please view it.  It is very comforting and relieves the guilt when you feel abandoned and faith just isn’t working for you!  Receive it’s healing!  It is filled with blessings.

The video appeared on Dec 17, 2012 on the 700 Club.
