GREETINGS FROM QUINN & ROSE!

A couple updates on Solyndra…  The basic rundown is that Solyndra was supposed to be a green company, and it went under.  The White House invested a half billion dollars in Solyndra, after knowing China had a better and more in-expensive way of producing than Solyndra.  Yet, we invested in it anyway.

So now, Solyndra is spending $2,500 an hour on each of the lawyers that are defending them in the upcoming investigations.  The executives from “We-Have-Nothing-to-Hide Solyndra,” are claiming the 5th Amendment…

A lot of people are saying Hillary should make a come-back and run for President.  There’s numbers out there that say 1 in 4 Democrats want a contender for Obama.  So, it may be possible that Bill & Hillary can tag-team and come back!  People are recommending that Obama not run for re-election!  Even newspapers in Chicago, that originally endorsed Obama are saying he shouldn’t run again.

Hillary has repeatedly said she won’t run for the Presidency, but she also said she wouldn’t run for Senate, and she said she wouldn’t run for President last time, and she did.  We can’t believe anything she says.

Some ridiculous news from the Nanny State.  They say Americans need to adjust their taste, to government’s taste.  As they deal with sodium & sugar reduction, they believe people will adjust over time.  In a Colorado school, they were feeding students brownies, made out of black beans.  And Quinn says, if they can make a birthday cake make out of that, it’ll blow out it’s own candles!

Rick Santorum is having troubles with Google.  When you Google Santorum’s name, it yields inappropriate results.  There’s a gay columnist, Dan Savage, who organized an online campaign, linking graphic sexual terms to Rick Santorum’s name.  Google isn’t helping Santorum out at all, the only suggestion they offer is that he contact the particular websites, and ask they be removed.  Hello?  It’s intentionally done.  Does Google really think they’ll remove their content because Santorum asked?  It’s heart-breaking, because he’s a Conservative, and personally is a person of faith, and a good person.

And yes, there was yet another debate this week.  On Thursday, there was a Republican Debate on Fox News between Perry, Bachmann, Romney, Gingrich, Cain, Paul, Santorum, Huntsman, and a face we haven’t seen in a while, Gary Johnson.  Quinn & Rose recapped the debate, complete with audio.

Mitt Romney remains a Moderate.  And Moderates don’t win.  The media is hoping that Romney will become the new McCain.

Rick Perry and Mitt Romney went head to head again, as expected.  They went back and forth on immigration and education.

Speaking of education, Michele Bachmann had great answers at the debate.  She said she’ll “turn out the lights and lock the door,” on the Dept. of Education.  She also had a good answer on immigration, as she would build a wall on the entire border, and stop giving tax credits for illegals.

The clear winners, to Rose’s estimation was Newt Gingrich, Herman Cain, and Rick Santorum (who had excellent answers on foreign policy and Pakistan).

Gary Johnson has the line of the night when he said his neighbor’s 2 dogs created more shovel ready jobs than Obama.  However, earlier that day, Rush Limbaugh said the same thing in his show!
