That’s the title of a new book by Daniel A. Weiner, an author, university lecturer, and Reform rabbi from Seattle. It’s a beautiful book which I read over the weekend, and one which I recommend to anyone looking for an easy, but not simplistic, read about how faith can work in our lives.
Subtitled “Faith for the Rest of Us”, this book works to get past the dangerous polarization between fanatical faith and soulless secularism, which pollsters love and most of us reject. Most people are “the rest of us” and this book speaks to that great middle which refuses to be pushed to either extreme.
