Some people can plow through life with their mighty willpower. That can work, although it sometimes leads to trouble, as plowing through via any means is apt to do. Instead, consider willingness. If you take a job that doesn’t seem ideal, can you be willing and see where it takes you? If you’ve committed to regular exercise and you absolutely don’t want to work out today, can you be willing and do it even though you’d rather not?
Willingness is a powerful quality because it’s the bridge between self-will and the flow of life. When you’re willing, you’re allowing life to live through you. It means you’re pliable and moldable. It means you can change and grow.
