Even though there are signs that the economy is improving, millions are still without work. Let’s put a little extra effort into our prayers this week for all who are in need of a job.
Here are some of the prayer requests we received this week:
In the 8 1/2 years I have been married I have
unfortunately been laid off a few times the latest this last July. The layoff
is placing a strain on us and our finances are running low.
Lay offs, furloughs, pay cuts – We have lost so many
people, and programs have been cut down to near nothing. I am a county
employee, and I just may get the Axe
Here’s a special prayer for all those in need:
Dear God,
We pray and ask for your love, guidance and protection
over all who are experiencing financial hardship and job loss at this
time. Please guide us to a swift end of this recession and return our lives and economy to our natural state of abundance and prosperity. Help all those in need to find jobs and recover their financial well-being and security. Give us faith, hope, courage and perseverance to ride out this storm and restore us all to personal and financial balance.
And so it is.
