Twins share a special bond. Being born together and sharing the same milestones throughout life is not something that most of us singletons will ever truly relate to, but would love to be able to. Whether it’s Mary Kate and Ashley, Tia and Tamara, or those adorable kids down the block in their double stroller or matching outfits, twins turns head. While most of us are familiar with our favorite famous identical twin siblings, there are also a number of celebrities who have twins that we often don’t hear about. Some of these twins are also involved in the entertainment industry. Others are lesser-known and keep a relatively low profile despite their sibling’s success. Fraternal or identical, brother or sister – these celebrities have one thing in common: They all share a birthday with their best-friend sibling. Here are seven celebrities you didn’t know were twins.

Ashton and Michael Kutcher

Ashton considers his brother Michael his best friend. He told this to a group of high school students back in 2012. Michael, who was born just minutes after his fraternal twin, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and cardiomyopathy as a child. He required a heart transplant during his teenage years. Before starring on That 70’s Show, Ashton attended the University of Iowa and studied biochemical engineering, inspired to find a cure for his brother’s disease. Michael is a spokesman for Reaching for the Stars, an organization advocating for children with cerebral palsy. “Being Ashton Kutcher’s brother, it gives me the opportunity to be that voice,” Michael told The Hill, “and I realized I needed to use the opportunity to help others.”

Before supermodel Gisele Bundchen became a global catwalking phenomenon, she was raised in Brazil with five sisters – Gabi, Raquel, Graziela, Rafaela and her fraternal twin, Patricia. In 1993, Gisele and Patricia both took a modeling course together; however, Gisele remained in the industry, ultimately becoming the world’s highest-paid supermodel. The two have always been close, also taking up ballet and gymnastics together when they were younger. When Gisele turned 35, she turned the spotlight away from herself and onto her sister, sharing a heart-warming message and photo collage of themselves on Facebook. “Thank you for being always there for me, since the very beginning. I love you so much,” Giselle wrote.
