These born-again celebrities are extremely vocal when it comes to their love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They are not afraid to share their faith values both privately and publically and have gained the reputation for being outspoken about their beliefs and for good reason. Many of these celebrities walked away from mainstream Hollywood, money and fame in an effort to grow in their faith with God, promote Christian values and evangelize in a seemingly lost world. Here are seven of the most outspoken Christian celebrities.

Mark Wahlberg

The former rapper, acclaimed actor and producer is very vocal about his faith, sharing in many interviews that it’s the most important part of his life. After a bought in prison after an assault charge, he called out to God seeing it as a wake-up call to improve his life and grow in his relationship with him. He is an active churchgoer and makes it a point to pray for at least 15-20 minutes daily and encourages others to do the same. In an interview with Piers Morgan, he said “I pray to be a good servant to God, a father, a husband, a son, a friend, a brother and uncle, a good neighbor, a good leader to those who look up to me and a good follower to those that are serving God and doing the right thing.”

Patricia Heaton

The ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ actress was raised Catholic and has openly talked about her faith to the press. When she was on “The Adam Carolla Show” in 2011 she said that there are a lot of religious people in Hollywood that are afraid to talk about it. In that same interview she brought up the passage from the Gospel of Mark "Jesus said don't be ashamed of me now or my word or I will be ashamed of you at the end of time." During that conversation, she made it a point to not only talk about her relationship with Christ but the relationship others should have with him saying, "God is perfect and you have to be perfected in order to exist with Him. We are not perfect. Sin is ... when you miss the mark. We all are born with this sort of disease and the cure for the disease ... is the blood of Christ."

Angus T. Jones

He was the highest paid child actor in television history when he played the role of Jake Harper on “Two and a Half Men” but grew troubled by the show’s themes and what he believed they promoted. As he began to grow in his faith, he began to really feel troubled working on the show. He even went as far as calling the show ‘filth’ and asking others to quit watching the sitcom while he was still a part of the project. While he later apologized for the manner in which he denounced the show, he never backed down from his beliefs and ultimately left the show and the millions he made from it behind. Today, he is actively involved in the Seventh Day Adventist Church and continues to grow in his faith.
