Faith and Love

Why is your love story different from other bachelors? And how important has your faith played in love?

"Catherine and I are living a faith centered marriage. We’re both very proud of and stand up for our faith. We’re different from everyone else and this is why we’re different," said Lowe. Faith was an important element that Catherine and Sean wanted in their lives because faith is their number one. "Before I went on the show I wrote down the things that I had to have in my spouse. And faith is number one for me. In my life and in my mind, everything is a distant second. I went into that with that mentality. I had to have someone that would challenge me," said Lowe.

Lowe is currently the only bachelor to be married and believes that their normalcy sets them apart. "We get a lot of feedback from our fans that they like how normal we are. We don’t try to put on a front or act. We’re best friends. Outside of doing all the traveling, we’re super normal. We’re very down to Earth," said Lowe.

The Reality and The Misconceptions

"When I signed up to be the bachelor, I didn’t know how I was going to be perceived. When you’re the lead of the show you can get a lot of criticism and I knew that going into it. People would say I was the most genuine person on the show," said Lowe. Sean wants to share his love story with others in hopes that they will find hope and inspiration within their own love life.

As for the biggest misconception - many viewers believed that the show was scripted. Sean says, "I am very proud to say that it wasn’t the case. They never said what to say or how to feel. All the emotions were completely different. The fact is when you put 25 people in one house, that in itself is going to create drama. To the producers credit that’s the reason why the show has been very successful. They truly believe in making good TV and love."

All and all, Lowe feels blessed that God has provided him with a wonderful platform to find the love of his life and share his story with the world.
