In the movie A Little Piece of Heaven, Will Loomis is the brother of Violet who is handicapped. Violet wants to play with young children and Will decide to take children from the local orphanage. The two tell the children that they have died and are now in heaven. Will and Violet make their farm a wonderful place for the children and make sure that they are happy; while the authorities are wondering what is happening to all of the children.

Will provides hope for his sister and the other children that have given up on life. Even though life may seem hard at times, Will's character shows everyone that God has a plan and gives hope to those who do not have a lot to be hopeful about.

The Miracle of the Cards is based on the true story of eight-year-old boy Craig Shergold, who is diagnosed with a brain tumor. Although the prognosis is negative, Craig's mother Marion becomes convinced that there is a cure for it, and that the means of finding that cure is to break the Guinness World Record for receiving greeting cards. Broadcasting a plea to everyone in the world, Marion is successful in bringing 350 million cards to Craig's door. One of those cards provides the key for Craig's ultimate salvation. A cynical reporter, Josh played by Kirk Cameron, finds himself witnessing a miracle he can hardly believe.

The character Josh witnesses the power of people. He is able to bring hope to those around him and other's in the future because he is a witness to this great testament of human kindness and love.
