Move over Twilight. Good reddens Hunger Games. There’s a new saga that will be taking over. Fan pandemonium will soon resurface and be essentially reborn within Disney’s soon-to-be released “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens” directed by J. J. Abrams. The seventh installment in the Star Wars film series stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Max con Sydow. The story takes place about 30 years after the events of that took place in 1983 in the Return of the Jedi.

The Force Awakens will appeal to loyal fans while enticing others who love a good action film. If you’re not a current Star Wars fan don’t worry because you’ll still dig the new Star Wars film – here are seven reasons why.

J. J. Abrams

The talented J. J. Abrams was the perfect choice to direct the Star Wars film. His producer and director credits list – Felicity, Alias, Star Trek, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Fringe and many other notable series and films. Abrams is renowned director and producer – there is no doubt that he is one of the best to work with in film. Abrams ideas are out of the box and one of his main missions is to provide the most “real-life experience” possible. During the San Diego Comic Con event in 2015, Abrams made several references to his desire to pay homage to fans by making sure the story was told “correctly.” So fan or no fan, this film is going to have a great story line and will not disappoint.
