St. Rita of Cascia – Difficult Marriages
St. Rita of Cascia was a wife, mother, widow and then nun and reflected holiness throughout each phase of her life. Even though she dealt with abuse in her marriage, she prayed for her family and still remained dutiful at home. When her husband died, she was admitted to the convent of Augustinian nuns at Cascia. She is the patroness of hopeless causes, victims of abuse and widows and welcomes your prayers and petitions for help, patience and healing in marriage and home life.
