If we are happy, God is with us. If we are depressed, God can't be around. No matter how many times you want to mold God what based on emotion, it will be a waste of stamina. God is omnipresent. He is there if we are happy or not. “If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation," 2 Corinthians 1:6-7 shared. "If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.” When we look to the next emotional high, we are doing ourselves a disservice by not giving God the opportunity to work during our lows.
