You Can Do It
Jesus told Martha that Mary was wise. I’m sure that this didn’t bode well with Martha. “But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her (Luke 10:42).” Martha loved the Lord and was willing to be corrected and to be encouraged to grow in many areas. There is no one that is perfect, and we will struggle with the issues of life daily, but being willing to sit at the feet of Jesus, acknowledge our faults, and sins prepares us for the journey here and for the kingdom that awaits us. If Martha was here today, she’d be proud of how many of you are willing to listen, discern, and embrace her lessons for a better life.
