Which city is most guilty of the sin of pride? Miami! CNN cited “a recent study conducted by Living Social and Mandala Research, which ranked Miami the country’s ‘Vainest City’ after asking participants in 20 U.S. media markets to rate their own attractiveness and that of others in their respective towns. The majority of Miami participants rank themselves a “7” or more (highest in survey) while pummeling their fellow Miamians with low scores. Miami participants also sais they know more neighbors who’ve had laser hair treatment, tummy tucks, collagen injections and liposuction than any other town, according to the same study.

And what about the most godly cities in America? “When it comes to U.S. cities that embrace the Bible, Tennessee still has bragging rights,” notes Time magazine. Chattanooga this year takes over the number-one ranking from nearby Knoxville, which claimed the top spot based on city-specific data collected by Barna Group. What are the top 10? Here they are with last year’s ranking in parenthesis: 1. Chattanooga (3); 2. Birmingham, Alabama (4); 3. Roanoke/Lynchburg, Virginia (8); 4. Springfield, Missouri (6); 5. Shreveport, Louisiana (2); 6. Charlotte (7); 7. The Greenville/Spartanburg, South Carolina/Asheville, North Carolina metro area (11); 8. Little Rock, Arkansas (12); 9. Jackson, Mississippi (5); and 10, Knoxville (1).
