St. Rita – Patron Saint of Loneliness
Married to a cruel and abusive man for 18 years until he was killed in a brawl, St. Rita suffered much in her life. She lost two sons and endured several chronic illnesses. But she never lost her faith and found joy in devoting her life to God. Upon her death, many miracles were attributed to her. If you feel lost or alone, ask St. Rita to intervene on your behalf. Many people see butterflies after praying to her.
There are more than 3,000 saints who have been given specific tasks to help us with. St. Helen helps people going through divorce. St. Agatha helps woman dealing with breast cancer. Need a job? Try asking St. Cajetan to help you. The bible tells us repeatedly to ask and you shall receive, but first we have to ask. So reach out, ask for help and allow miracles to occur in your life.
