Towards God
The prophet Micah reflected on what God requires of us and responded that God desires us to “do justly, love mercy, and to walk humbly with the Divine One”. Because Judaism is not based on belief and there are as many views of the Divine as there are Jews, our connections vary, but Jews today are rediscovering our ancient traditions and finding a deeper communion with God through spontaneous prayer, transcendent moments, vibrancy and joy in our own tradition, and the deep love of God for us, for those who differ from “us”, for the earth, and for all sentient creatures.
