Great Miracle
Kids play with a dreidel, a toy that has the Hebrew letters (nun, gimmel, shin and hay) on each of its four sides. Together it spells Nes Gadol Hayah, meaning “a great miracle happened here.” Some use coins or chocolate to put into the pot. If one spins and gets shin, it means add to the pot, nun means do nothing, gimmel means take all, and hay or half means you take half of the pot.
