Simple Prayers for Your Everyday

Ephesians 1:17-19

“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Chris, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the might strength.”

It’s important to understand and carry out your calling. Ask God to provide you with balance and guidance, every day, so you can fully appreciate your riches and good fortune. Also, ask that he give you the ability to understand you’re the bigger picture of the lessons he puts within your path. Communicate on a daily basis with God so that you have a better understanding of what he’s trying to convey. If you wait too long you’ll discover that an opportune situation may pass you by and you’ll miss your calling.

Colossians 1:9-13

“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves…”

From time-to-time the lessons that God places within your journey will not make sense. However, if you regularly communicate with God through prayer you’ll increase your ability to endure and be patient during these times. IT’s important to remember that God made a sacrifice for you – and without his sacrifice there would be no future. Keep in mind that the spirit that lies within your faith is a much higher being and possesses a great deal of strength that will keep you going.

Philippians 1:9-11

“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ – to the glory and praise of God.”

Daily prayer will help an individual understand the bigger picture. Instead of casting blame on God, an individual will understand the righteous acts that God carries out each day. Nothing is perfect and living within perfection was never God’s intentions. Everyone must stop blaming others and take ownership of their own mistakes in order to build a strong future. Once an individual can see past themselves, they’ll be able to accomplish a greater future.
