Constance Effie, 70, said was sitting in her living room inside her home Saturday evening when she heard what she thought was a bomb. “We looked all around and didn’t see a hole anywhere and I thought, ‘Look, that picture — the glass is all broken,'” Constance said. The picture that stopped the bullet was hanging two feet above where she was sitting. It just happened to be a framed copy of the Lord’s Prayer. She believes it was an act of God.
