1. Hiking! The Scriptures mention specifically the few times when He rode a donkey, then describe his many other travels with no mention of horses, camels, mules or donkeys – causing us to accept the tradition that He walked the length and breadth of Judea, Samaria and Gallilee throughout His ministry. Matthew 3:4 would make us think He hiked when He visited his cousin John the Baptist, who was a bit of a rustic, living in rural Judea in a remote area by the Jordan River wearing rough, homespun camel’s hair and eating “locusts and wild honey.” John apparently camped out at “Enon near to Salem” since there was plenty of water there for baptizing.

12. Walking on water. In Matthew 14:24, He decided to join the Disciples who had left by boat and took a direct route – straight across the water. Being Almighty God, walking on the Sea of Gallilee even in the middle of yet another storm was no problem. The Disciples were amazed and Peter even tried it himself. Matthew 14:30 tells how Peter “saw the wind, he was afraid and beginning to sink, cried out, saying, Lord, save me.” Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand, pulled him up and said “O ye of little faith.” Matthew 14:33 tells how “they that were in the boat worshipped Him, saying, truly You are the Son of God.”
