Phillipi
Usually referred to simply as “Philippians,” the eleventh book in the New Testament, the Epistle of St. Paul to the Church in Philippi, Greece, is short and easy to read. It was in Phillipi that the very first congregation in Europe was established. Paul dearly loved these people, which is evident in the very practical advice that fills this letter, which he apparently wrote to them from prison in Rome just before his execution.
