Ok, so I'm about to push the envelope for a moment here, so pardon me for being candid. It's just that I can't hold it in any longer and I'm tired of seeing so many wonderful, people "Strive" to create a flat out, false image of themselves.
Don't try to hold me back now. Here goes, I'm going in.
This myth about Self Improvement is a complete farce and a façade in the making as far as I'm considered. Pardon me for my directness, but it somewhat infuriates me as I've observed how it creates so much inner turmoil within the lives of many wonderful, souls.
I believe that what starts out as a pure intention, ends up being an obsession with layering up and covering one's True essence by becoming something that we're not.
It builds the belief of "Unworthiness" and highly suggests that something's wrong with you, an illusion and distortion of epic proportions by the way.
Quite the contrary, our wholeness lies in our self perceived flaws and imperfections designed with a specific, divine intent and purpose.
Pfeww! Excuse me for a moment; I had to get that off my chest.
Look, I'm not trying to use this as an excuse or a cop out for screwing up and not taking responsibility for some of our poor choices, because let's face it, sometimes we create and invite some rather "Funky" situations because of a lack of consciousness and “stinking, thinking”.
No, that's not what I mean. What I'm implying is that our need to create, this false persona is actually a plea for our power to the Divine when the truth of the matter is, we already have the power within.
It is by tapping into this power and Awareness of who we "Really Are" that unleashes the sleeping, Empress within. And when we awaken to our Truth and expand our consciousness, it sets off a domino effect within, our chakras begin to open up and we begin to think higher and make better Spirit aligned, choices in our lives overall.
That is when our inner world starts to match the outer world and transformation occurs.
I've often believed that it is what we think we're not that often blocks us from living up to our full potential, and so we immerse ourselves in a myriad of self help books, seminars, all well intentioned, but in pursuit of our "Worthiness" instead of expanding our consciousness with thought provoking, material.
I'm about to go deep for a moment here so please keep an open mind. Are you ready?
"You are already Saved".
What do I mean by that, you ask?
You are already forgiven. There is nothing to prove to the Divine. You are created in his image; therefore you are perfect, whole and complete. To suggest that you must fix yourself is somewhat blasphemy towards the holy creation that you are and often sets off "Attack" type thoughts of self affliction, which in turn creates your suffering while manifesting undesirable, circumstances.
That is why I'm a lover of A Course in Miracles, because it teaches us that forgiveness is the key to unlocking the miracles in our lives.
It clears the blocks, restores our perception and helps us remember who the "dreamer actually is."
And once we awaken to our True selves, we open up our heart space and operate from a place of love rather than fear. Life then becomes magical, peaceful, joyful, light filled, knowing that we are loved, unconditionally by the Divine.
In turn we are able to spread this love to the world and deliver others from fear by operating in the space of our Authentic selves. And how beautiful is that, a collective, consciousness operating in harmony with one another.
Call me a utopic, idealist, but I will never stop believing in the good of humanity nor lose faith in people waking up to the greatness within. For it's never too late to discover who you "Really Are."
