Acknowledge Your Feelings

Loving yourself requires that you be truthful about your own feelings – to you. If you are happy, acknowledge the joy. If you are sad, acknowledge the sorrow.
When you are truthful about your feelings, you will not try to lie to yourself or seek to stuff down your negative emotions. Instead, you will become increasingly aware of your thoughts and feelings. And as we all know, thoughts are merely suggestions. They can be changed! Healing and self growth are possible.
