Be grateful for all you have.
If we believe everything the advertisers and mainstream media is telling us, we always need to have more. We should be dissatisfied with the status of our net worth, our jobs, our loved ones and everything else. If we’re dissatisfied, then we’ll be more likely to buy their product and then everything will be fine and dandy again. But the still small voice within us has a different message. “Be grateful” it says, “Your cup overflows” it whispers. If we approach our life from a perspective of lack, then we will never be happy – no matter how many good things come our way, we will always be focused on what we don't have. But stopping to smell the roses in our live is not only more enjoyable, but it’s more effective at living the fullest life God has for us right now.
