Blame Everyone Else for Your Problems
If it wasn’t for your mom (fill in the blank with: dad, accountant, boyfriend, boss, former BFF, your kids…) your life would be great! They had total responsibility for everything bad that happened to you. You spend a lot of time and mental energy cataloging other people’s bad behavior. However, as the saying goes, “When you point a finger at someone, there are three fingers pointing back at you!” The problem with this way of thinking is that you believe that someone else has to change in order for things to improve in your life. It gives you no sense of control, or genuine happiness. YOU, your own thoughts, feeling and attitudes are the ones to look at to bring about that inner peace.
