While the road is rough ahead, each person demonstrates bravery, exemplifies the willingness to survive or accepts the situation with extreme grace and courage. Surrounding each person are their strong supportive loved ones who are braving the battle alongside their hero. Poet, medical director, teacher, doctor, partner, grandmother - there is no stone left unturned in the life of Toni. Recognized by presidents and health establishments across the world, Toni has left a lasting impression on the world. Toni was diagnosed with lung cancer - despite having never smoked in her life. She changed the lives of many with her preventive oncologist studies and her implementation of 'instant recess' in schools nationwide.

Her cousin described her saying, "She's all about love, tenderness and what more she can give the world." Darlene, Toni's partner, stood by throughout the battle and never backed down despite the constant struggles due to the illness. Toni's legacy will live on through her works that she left the world.
