The great part about #GivingTuesday is how much it lends itself to personal ownership. There are no set charities that you have to give to, so individuals and communities can come together and focus on the issues that matter most to them. The City of Baltimore, for example, came together and formed the “B’More Gives More” campaign, raising over $3,900 a minute and logging over 1,000 volunteer hours on 2013’s Giving Tuesday. There’s plenty of time to prepare for the year, so what will you give?”
