There is Peace in the Quiet
Do you allow yourself stillness or the chance to sit in silence? By that, I mean a time when you’re doing nothing but resting your mind, just breathing and being present? Inner silence means being able to achieve a sense of inner stillness. Our mind is busy obsessing over the past and future. It is relentlessly trying to figure out life. Even when we sleep, our mind is working. It is rare to just be. The Gate of Silence trains you to meditate, relax, and be present. Sometimes in the middle of the night, one might wake up and hear silence. The world is quiet. But there is another kind of silence that is rare and hard to tune into - a deep stillness inside, in which you hear eternity. You feel a peaceful merging into all that is. In this inner quiet, you experience a melting, expanding, and dissolving sensation, as if you lose and find yourself all at once. Time stops, or maybe it stretches, and all that you think you know disappears into yet a deeper knowing. Through silence and meditative practice, we can experience profound clarity and peace and hear the voice of our intuition.
