Rediscover Life after Tragedy
Scores of people were killed by an earthquake in India, Pakistan and in Afghanistan. During a normal day at a college and elementary school people are massacred after shots fired. Communities are shocked, angered, and left with heartaches that never dissipate. Fear has taken over, leaving a prison of agony. Life seems to move slow motion. Relationships change, outlooks are shaken, and hope is amiss. Rediscovering life after any loss is a long road, and everyone recovers at different seasons of life. Eleanor Roosevelt said you gain “strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do."
