Embraced by Grace
Born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita, a rare congenital birth defect, she was that left with arms that she could barely use. But God also gave her an unbeatable determination and sense of independence. Even as a toddler, she began adapting, working to her strengths, eventually teaching herself to use her feet as hands. Today she is able to use her feet to do such activities as changing diapers, making dinner, putting on makeup, playing the piano and even typing on the computer – which is how she wrote her book, In Capable Arms: Living a Life Embraced by Grace.
