What Are You Doing to Serve?
Our Journey of Hope is a simple, but powerful name for the Cancer Treatment Centers of America’s new initiative-- to equip church leaders to better serve people suffering with cancer. Cancer rips apart even the most mature believers, and the church isn’t equipped to deal with the emotional, physical, or spiritual toll. Rev. Michael Langham and Director of Pastoral Care at CTCA is working bridge the gap.
“Cancer is a unique disease that has a profound spiritual and emotional impact on the lives of patients and their loved ones," Langham said in a press release.
CTC’s Department of Pastoral Care sponsored the first seminar and ministry program launched in November and uses a biblically based program as its foundation.
Whether it’s counseling people during their fight against cancer, feeding, or saving souls, the following church outreaches will inspire you to get involved in your community. What are you doing to serve?
