Taking a love of music but recognizing a hole in the industry that needed to be filled with messages from the Lord, Billy Ray Hearn took a music business background and a degree in gospel music and filled the void.

He started his own label, dedicated to contemporary Christian music – one of the first of its kind. His work has helped propel the careers of artists like Amy Grant, Hillsong United, Newsboys, Chris Tomlin, Steven Curtis Chapman, BeBe & CeCe Winans, and so many more.

Hearn’s label, Capitol Christian Music Group, is the world’s largest religious label in music industry, and gives artistic freedom to all its artists.
