4 Tips for Finding New Friendships
Like many others, I moved far from home when I was barely 21 and never looked back. Though I didn’t miss the city, I left behind the only true friendships I had ever known with hope that I would be lucky enough to form new ones. I’m the first to admit that making friends as an adult is difficult. That bond that seemed to naturally form with old friends, through the connection of location and possibly school is much more hard to find when you are starting from scratch. Work is the most simple way to meet new people, but sometimes that doesn’t work either, especially in today’s individualistic society. So what is one to do when they are seeking friendship as an adult? I’ve managed to form amazing and truly authentic friendships in the past nine years, here are my tips on how you can do the same.
