Listen
Don't be a counselor, be the ears to listen. Be willing to hear what your loved one has to say and remember that your presence sends an important message to your loved one. Allowing your sick loved one to freely speak may help them with their anxieties about death and their regrets in life. Listen without casting judgment or fault.
If you're suffering from a terminally ill sickness, allow your loved ones to be there for you. Everyone wants to help and comfort you during this tough time. Talk to your friends and family and allow them to know how you feel. There may not be another opportunity to share your beliefs and concerns. Ultimately you will feel better and be closer to emotional peace.
