Heal My Soldier
Note: May also be prayed replacing Soldier with Sailor, Airman, Marine or Coast Guardsman. May also be male or female.
God, my soldier is wounded (sick or injured) so I am coming to You on his behalf seeking Your healing touch. Just like the centurion who requested Jesus to heal his ailing servant, I too pray for healing and restoration for my soldier.
Father, please show me that I have found favor in Your sight and that You hear my prayer by restoring the health of my soldier and healing his wounds as Your Word declares. Your Word says that I, as a believer in Jesus Christ, can lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. Therefore, I lay hands on my soldier believing full recovery. You said that whatever I bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever I loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. I bind sickness, disease, pain, and suffering from my soldier's body, and I loose healing and physical restoration in the name of Jesus.
God, I believe that healing is a physical benefit of being Your child. I believe that my soldier is Your child. Even if my soldier has not accepted Your wonderful gift of salvation I ask that You have mercy on him and heal him anyway. I believe that You want my soldier to prosper and be in good health. I believe, as Your Word declares, that no weapon formed against my soldier will prosper. I believe by faith that You can heal my soldier's body. Even now, I believe healing is taking place in his body. I believe that Jesus bore my soldier's sicknesses and carried with Him on the cross all the pain that my soldier is experiencing right now and that by His stripes my soldier is healed.
Lord, sustain my soldier's health as he recovers from his wounds. Restore my soldier's health so he is no longer bound to his bed. Restore him as You see fit. I ask that You use this situation as a way of drawing my solider closer to You so that he may one day praise and glorify Your name through his testimony.
Father, I ask that You preserve my soldier’s life according to Your will and his appointed time. Your Word says that man should expect long life because You declared that the number of man's days is 70 years. I ask that You satisfy my soldier with long life, and at this moment, You allow him to live and not die from this illness or injury.
In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
