B.E. Little You and Me is a small online shop that I opened to sell my handmade teepee style play tents. It all started with intentions of creating something to keep my soon to be two year old busy, as we prepared to transition to life with a second child. In the last couple weeks of my pregnancy I bought a scrap of clearance fabric, came up with a pattern that would allow me to make the most of that scrap, sat down at my machine and created my son a teepee of his own. My husband and I assembled it the next day and it was a huge hit! It kept our little guy busy for hours and ended up being lots of fun for the whole family. After seeing the joy it brought my son, I decided to perfect my pattern, make a few samples, and try to start selling them. Thanks to so many wonderful customers who support handmade artisans, B.E. Little You and Me has been a success! This little online shop has come so far in a year, but I am proud to say that each teepee is still handmade with utmost care and quality by my husband and myself.

All of my frames and knob racks are custom made to order with the best quality products. They are each made to specific uniqueness to match your needs. It's a one of a kind piece that is custom made for each customer. I have discovered that frames have several functions - glass for picture frame, chalkboards, bulletin boards, dry erase boards, and mirrors. DIY projects come from my genes. I love diy projects, but I get the biggest drive and passion when it comes to making custom pieces - I love the joy and excitement I can bring to someone, even if it is as small as a frame or knob rack. It's a personal reward when I have created a special custom piece for someone, that they couldn't get anywhere else.

Christin Austin is the owner of Frosting Home Decor.

Two years ago I took take a big chance. I transitioned from a dental career to daycare and then quit doing daycare to pursue my passion for home fashion. I began sewing and opened my Etsy shop Frosting Home Decor! Now as a stay-at-home mother of three wild and wonderful children, ages 4, 3, and 1, I juggle long hours to create custom window treatments, striped curtains and home décor accents including pillow covers and table runners. Since my shop is so busy I recently brought my mother on full-time. Today Frosting Home Décor’s products are in homes worldwide! We feel truly blessed! We are two best friends from Carlsbad who have been business partners for most of our friendship. Together our imaginations run wild and create a "two heads are better than one" dynamic. We use only water based inks free from harmful chemicals. These inks are embedded into the fabric to create a high quality product in both look and feel. Our Colors are brilliantly printed and will last the life of the garment. We design and print all of our goods ourselves. We have set forth core values based off the acronym THRIVE to be instilled in ourselves & our team. These values are practiced and applied daily within our team as well as with customer interaction.
