1 teaspoon minced ginger root
1 teaspoon minced garlic
4 teaspoons oil, preferably canola oil
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
Pepper to taste
4 small loin lamb chops, 1-inch thick
TO PREPARE:
1. Preheat broiler.
2. Combine ginger, garlic, oil, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and pepper in a
bowl.
3. Place lamb chops in a dish and coat with ginger mixture, reserving a
portion of ginger mixture for basting.
4. Broil chops for 7 minutes on one side, then turn and brush with remaining
ginger mixture. Broil an additional 5–7 minutes or until done, as desired.
NOTE: The whole family will love the sweet and sour flavor.
