INGREDIENTS:
3 Tablespoons light margarine
1 medium chopped onion
2 stalks chopped celery
1 medium chopped bell pepper
1 pound smoked turkey sausage, sliced
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
2 (15 ounce) cans Navy beans
1 (10 ounce) can chicken broth
2 cups water
Salt free seasoning to taste
TO PREPARE:
In heavy stock pot, saute chopped vegetables in margarine. Add sliced sausage and tomato sauce. Simmer 15 minutes. Add beans (with juice), broth, seasoning and water. (Mash one cup of beans for consistency). Cook over medium heat for one hour.
