INGREDIENTS:
1 (11-ounce) package frozen artichokes
3/4 cup whipping cream
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup (3 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese
3/4 cup (3 ounces) grated Parmesan cheese
3 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon thyme
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 (10-inch) deep-dish pie shell, frozen
TO PREPARE:
Cook the artichokes using package directions; drain. Combine the whipping cream, milk, Swiss cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, salt, thyme and cayenne pepper in a bowl and mix well.
Pour the egg mixture into the frozen pie shell. Arrange the artichokes on top of the egg mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
