There’s Less Stress
Depression. Migraines. Insomnia. High blood pressure. Heart-related issues. One thing that all of these health problems have in common is that they can be brought on by stress. And although there are many health benefits that are directly connected to sexual activity (weight loss, better sleep, increased toning and flexibility, just to name a few), when you’re engaging in it with someone you’re not in a long-term committed relationship with, there are other factors to consider. Marriage is designed to be a permanent union (Matthew 19:6), but when you choose to have sex outside of it, those relationships tend to be temporary. And when you’re not sure how long something will last, you run the risk of break-ups, unwanted pregnancies, STDs - drama. And with drama comes stress and stress, over time, can do a real number on your mental, emotional and yes, physical health and well being.
