Disappearing Acts
One major and unfortunate modern dating rule is the waiting game. Because you don’t want to come off too pressed, you disappear for a little while, just enough time to build relationship suspense. The other party has to ask themselves, are they really interested in me, am I getting played, all because the person doesn’t want to come off as a lame. These same acts even apply to the relationship itself. On the flip side, the other side of the disappearing act is that the person just might not be interested in you. But instead of being straight that they just aren’t interested, they lead people on, just so they can get what they want out of the relationship, then move on.
