Stay in Silliness
You do not have to go anywhere special to have a wonderful time. In fact, sometimes the best memories are made when you do not have a beautiful location or exciting event to distract you. Occasionally, everyone craves a little time to simply be with their friends.
The odds are that the bride is stressed out of her mind planning the wedding. She may be over the moon about her special day, but there are still seating arrangements to handle, flowers to order, feuding family members to pacify and decorations to choose. The bride is, frankly, exhausted. As such, she might very well appreciate a day or night where she does not have to impress anyone.
Gather up all the girls and pretend you are all in junior high again. Have a sleepover complete with pillow fights. Tell scary stories or watch movies that are so bad they are good. Break open the liquor cabinet and have a cocktail making contest. For food, have all the bridesmaids bring one of the bride’s favorite dishes or, if the bride wants a night off eating healthy, order a pizza. Keep the evening low key and focus on making memories rather than impressing anyone.
