Homer Jay Simpson

Homer Jay Simpson was born on May 12, 1955 to Mona and Abraham Simpson. His father had to raise him on his own because his mother Mona was forced to run from the law because of her political activism.
Homer is married to Marge and they have three children - Bart, Lisa and Maggie. He works at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and is the longest running employee to hold an entry-level position. After the removal of a crayon, Homer's IQ raised to 105; which is a little above average. However he had it reinserted because he didn't want to be average.
If Homer Simpson took the Beliefnet's Politic-O-Matic, where would he stand? He's known for his blue collar ways but where does Homer stand politically?
