Josiah for President!
Amish farmer Josiah Stoltzfus lives by the sweat of his brow and knows the value of hard work. (You won't find a lot of snooze alarms on Amish farms.) Josiah also knows the good feeling that comes with resourcefulness and self-sufficiency. Like Lincoln, he is as skilled at planting a field and splitting logs for a fire to heat his home as he is at finding just the right words to say at just the right time. Words like, "I've worked the land all my life and I've yet to find a money tree, especially one growing trillion dollar bills."
Fictional Congressman Mark Stedman is leaving Washington politics. He's through with trying to make a difference. "Washington's not my problem to fix anymore," he says, ending his struggling presidential campaign and heading home to Wisconsin. That is until, during an unplanned detour, he meets Josiah.
