Bible Study Prayer
Praise to You, my God, may Your Word always ring in my ear to help me resist temptation, turn away from evil inclinations, and avoid corrupt influences. May Your Word be sweet in my mouth and lasting in my heart. I will live Your teachings; to perform good deeds, to be loving and kind, to act fairly and with compassion. Thank You, oh God, for the gift of Your guidance through the study of Your Bible. God, Your teachings are wholesome, restoring the soul.
Your guarantees are reliable, making wise the simple. Your precepts are right, gladdening our hearts. Your commandments are transparent, enlightening our eyes. Your awesomeness is pure, enduring forever. Your laws are true, establishing justice forever.
