Do you still feel hungry after eating a moderate, reasonable amount of food? Do you wish you could just "shut off your appetite" because you know you’ve had enough and don’t want to have any more?
I have a truly wonderful tip for you today. This works so well!
Have something hot to drink. Try a cup of coffee, or tea, or hot apple cider. You’ll find it instantly shuts off your hunger. Sip it slowly. Savor the flavor. Smell the nice aroma wafting from the cup.
My favorite hot teas are ginger, Darjeeling, cardamom, and this "dessert tea" that tastes like English toffee. None of these has even one calorie. I make my own ginger tea by cutting a few slices of ginger root and putting them in a simmering pan of water. Let it steep about five minutes. It’s outstanding. You’ll find it really good for a cold or allergies, too.
If you're desperate for dessert, especially chocolate, try a small cup of hot chocolate (skip the whipped cream, though). It’s only 100 calories or so--equivalent to a slice of bread--nowhere near the 500 or more more calories in a piece of chocolate cream pie or German chocolate cake.
