Thich Nhat Hanh, a world-renowned teacher of mindfulness meditation, explains how to calm yourself through breathing in and out. The calm mind, he says, is like a still pond, reflecting the beauty of the full moon. You will be able to receive the truth, and your perceptions will be correct.

Thich Nhat Hanh is a Buddhist monk and Zen master in the Vietnamese tradition, a scholar, a poet, and a peace activist. Exiled from Vietnam for peace activities during the war, he settled in France in 1967 where he founded the Plum Village meditation training center. Thich Nhat Hanh is the author of the national best-sellers “The Sun My Heart,” “Living Buddha, Living Christ,” “Anger: Wisdom for Cooling the Flames," and over 60 other books. He was nominated for the 1967 Nobel Peace Prize by Martin Luther King, Jr.
