Do you define yourself by your childhood traumas? Many of us identify with labels that limit our potential and natural resilience. Spiritual activist Wayne Muller suggests that we think of ourselves in ways that help us remember our strength, courage and wisdom.
Wayne Muller has dedicated his life to the service of others, having spent the last 20 years working closely with some of the most disadvantaged members of society. He is the founder of Bread for the Journey, a nationwide relief organization and TREAT, a community-based AIDS research and care group. A graduate of Harvard Divinity School, Wayne is the author of the national best-seller “Legacy of the Heart: The Spiritual Advantages of a Painful Childhood,” “How Then, Shall We Live?” and “Sabbath--Restoring the Sacred Rhythm of Rest.”
