God,
Thank you for the unexpected pleasures of age.
The sweetness of relishing the journey while others rush, push and drive.
The joy of picking and choosing from amongst a lifetime of memories.
Celebrating how far I’ve come, challenges met and overcome. Letting many things go, without giving up breadth and depth.
Finally making sense of things.
And above all, trusting that there is time enough to take care of the unfinished business of becoming ever more fully myself.
